M'Lady Rides for a Fall

Cassandra’s father is going to marry again. Determined to set up her own establishment as a result, she gets involved in a range of schemes, including trying to enter a steeplechase race disguised as a man. Meanwhile she is also caught up in wondering who her cousin’s new valet is, only to discover that the valet is actually a very dashing soldier hiding out from a moneylender.
