Tinsel Star

By Rachel Lindsay

When diminutive PR director Lizbeth Dawson meets her playboy boss Danny Ferguson, he plays a prank on her and she is NOT appreciative. So, to one-up him, at their lunch date, she sends a package containing a stuffed snake and a terse note saying: "I can recognise a snake when I see one.”. This is a fun read, due to dialogue that's fast, witty and like a good 30's comedy. Danny has a few too many women throughout the book and doesn't appreciate Lizbeth, but love conquers all in the end !
