Romance classification is detailed, and no catalog is perfect. Specific, evidence-based corrections help readers make better choices and help authors keep their work represented accurately.
What to report
Send corrections for duplicate books, wrong authors or covers, missing or incorrect series positions, unsuitable tropes, inaccurate heat levels, content-warning severity, and publisher descriptions attached to the wrong edition.
What to include
Email support@steamyshelf.com with the Steamy Shelf page URL, the field that appears wrong, the proposed correction, and a source when one is available. Publisher pages, author websites, ISBN records, and precise scene context are especially useful.
How review works
Bibliographic corrections are checked against authoritative records. Subjective classifications are compared with the site's published methodology and available community evidence. Reports do not automatically change the catalog, and disagreement may be represented through reader voting rather than removing valid perspectives.
Authors and rights holders
Authors can claim an existing author page to maintain profile information. Rights or legal requests should follow the contact process in the Terms. Urgent safety reports belong under the content policy.
