Find the right book, your way.
Browse without an account, or create a shelf to save books and receive recommendations shaped by your tastes. These answers cover the most common questions.
Do I need an account?
No. Public work, author, trope, heat, warning, series, and reading-list pages are available without signing in. An account is needed to save books, vote, join clubs, follow readers, and personalize recommendations.
How do heat levels work?
Sweet, Behind closed doors, Warm, Steamy, and Explicit describe increasing on-page detail and frequency. Read the complete definitions in our methodology.
Can I exclude a content warning?
Yes. During the quiz or in profile preferences, mark a warning as a hard limit. Signed-in discovery and recommendation surfaces will filter matching books where warning data is available.
Why is a tag or warning missing?
Some records are newer or have less evidence than others. Reader votes and reports improve them over time. Use the correction process for a specific issue.
How can I add a missing book?
Use the suggest a book form. Include the author and any identifying details that help distinguish it from books with similar titles.
How can an author update a profile?
Open the public author page and choose Claim this page. The claim is reviewed before ownership is granted. Verified owners can maintain profile information without changing community classifications.
